The International Relations Office of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) is responsible for coordinating and promoting the institution's international activities. Its role includes managing agreements and partnerships with foreign universities and institutions, and promoting the mobility of students and professors. The International Office seeks to expand UFRN's global presence and strengthen international collaboration in research and teaching projects. In addition, it offers support to internationalization programs, contributing to the formation of a globalized and integrated academic community.

The International Relations Office is divided into five departments: executive secretariat, agreements, academic mobility, translation, and media. Each contributes to the operation of the office.

Agreements: This department is responsible for formalizing and managing agreements and partnerships with educational and research institutions in other countries. It seeks to expand opportunities for academic and scientific collaboration.

Academic Mobility: It focuses on promoting exchanges for students and faculty, facilitating participation in undergraduate programs abroad. The department also handles the reception of foreign students, promoting an enriching cultural exchange.

Translation: This department offers translation and interpretation services, ensuring that documents and communications issued by UFRN are accessible in different languages, which is essential for students who are in the mobility process.

Executive Secretariat: Responsible for the administrative and logistical organization of the International Office, this department  ensures that internal operations are conducted efficiently, supporting the activities of other departments and providing support to management.

Media: This department takes care of disseminating the actions and initiatives of the International Office, using social networks and other means of communication to inform the academic community about international opportunities, events and results of partnerships.
